Cornwall
Cornwall, in the extreme southwest of England, long was a Celtic region, then part of a Roman-occupied province, and finally an area remote from the Anglo-Saxon settlements of the 4th-6th centuries. It remained more Celtic than most of England, and therefore had similarities to Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.
