Earth-Based Religions
History has seen thousands of religions come and go. The pre-Celtic and Celtic tribes each had religions, complete with earth gods or goddesses, rituals, mysteries, and sacred sites. The local druid, or priest, served as the link between the gods and the tribal folk, explaining, organizing, judging, remembering, and defining. Generally, the Celtic people saw the gods in everything around them. and sought to influence those gods to their own good advantage.
