By Captain R. E. Key
Downloadable pdf. 16 pages.
This is an account of the siege of Quebec, and of the Scottish Highlanders who settled in that region after 1759, when the French lost possession of this North American colony. In 1775, the revolutionary American army invaded Canada, leaving from Fort Ticonderoga with 1500 men. Success followed them all the way to Quebec, but there Highland Scots loyal to King George III threw them back and preserved Quebec for the British.
